Ron is an accredited specialist in Wills and Estates.
Ron has had over 30 years experience as a suburban solicitor. For around 20 years he ran the practice of R H Ballard & Co at Mitcham dealing extensively in real estate and property development.
He is a registered tax agent and on the Referral Panel of Business Access (formerly Small Business Victoria). He is a member of the Law Council of Australia, of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australia Society of Accountants.
An active Rotarian for more than 30 years, Ron holds a Paul Harris Fellow Award and is a past President of the Rotary Club of Mitcham. He is involved in a variety of voluntary organizations including Nilumbik Orienteering Club, Victorian Rogaining Association and Langrenn Ski Club, Falls Creek. A keen sportsman, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, orienteering, bush walking and cross-country skiing.

Don is an accredited specialist in Family Law and has been since 1989.
Following a 2-year position in Melbourne, Don spent seven years practicing in Echuca, the last five of which were as a principal. In 1984 he returned to Melbourne and established Smith Ryan & Co in Wantirna South, finally merging that practice with Holt & Macdonald in 2000. Don has in excess of thirty years experience as a litigation lawyer, specializing in family law.
Don is a member of the Law Council of Australia, the Law Institute of Victoria, the Family Law Section and the Litigation Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
Outside of work, you may find him playing golf, tennis or going to the football. `

Renee has been in practice since 1991 having had experience in commercial litigation, business and property matters. She joined Holt & Macdonald in October 2001 and now practises in the areas of Property Law, Wills and Probate, Retail Leasing and Commercial matters.
Renee is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and Property Law and Commercial Law Sections of the Law Institute of Victoria and is an Accredited Specialist in Property Law.
When she is not kept busy with her three young children, Renee enjoys music, reading and gardening. |

Allana has handled family law matters involving all aspects of family or relationship breakdown, including children's issues, property division, divorce and defacto law since 1992. She places particular importance on providing resolution to matters without the need for lengthy and expensive litigation.
Allana is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Family Law Section of the Law Institute.
Outside the office, Allana's interest are family, music, theatre and watching cricket and football.
